विधर्मिणो 'ह्नि पूर्वाख्ये सन्ध्याकाले च षण्डकाः ।

क्षुरकर्मणि वान्ते च स्त्रीसम्भोगे च पुत्रक ॥

Transliteration

vidharmiṇo 'hni pūrvākhye sandhyākāle ca ṣaṇḍakāḥ / kṣurakarmaṇi vānte ca strīsambhoge ca putraka

Translation

Những đứa trẻ được gọi là ‘vidharmī’ (lệch khỏi chánh pháp) được nói là do giao hợp ban ngày (như đã dạy trước) và vào lúc chạng vạng; còn ‘ṣaṇḍaka’ (con cái bất lực/giống hoạn) thì do giao hợp khi đang liên hệ việc cạo tóc/cắt tóc, sau khi nôn mửa, và trong các điều kiện bất tịnh khác—hỡi con yêu.
