Adhyaya 31Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure

पवित्रपाणिराचान्तानासनेषूपवेशयेत् ।

पितॄणामयुजः कामं युग्मान् दैवे द्विजोत्तमान् ॥

pavitrapāṇirācāntānāsaneṣūpaveśayet | pitṝṇāmayujaḥ kāmaṃ yugmān daive dvijottamān ||

Với đôi tay đã thanh tịnh, người ấy nên mời những vị đã súc miệng uống nước (ācamana) ngồi vào chỗ của họ. Đối với tổ tiên, nên sắp chỗ số lẻ; đối với nghi lễ dâng lên chư thiên, nên sắp chỗ số chẵn cho các Bà-la-môn ưu tú.
