Adhyaya 19 — Kartavirya Arjuna at Dattatreya’s Ashram: Boons, Sovereignty, and Vaishnava Praise
इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे (… ) नामाष्टादशोऽध्यायः ।
एकोनविंशोऽध्यायः ।
पुत्र उवाच — इत्यृषेर्वचनं श्रुत्वा कार्तवीर्यो नरेश्वरः ।
दत्तात्रेयाश्रमं गत्वा तं भक्त्या समपूजयत् ॥
iti śrīmārkaṇḍeyapurāṇe (… ) nāmāṣṭādaśo 'dhyāyaḥ / ekonaviṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ / putra uvāca ity ṛṣer vacanaṃ śrutvā kārtavīryo nareśvaraḥ / dattātreyāśramaṃ gatvā taṃ bhaktyā samapūjayat
“Như vậy kết thúc chương mười tám trong Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa …” (lời kết). Rồi bắt đầu chương mười chín. Người con nói: Nghe lời vị hiền triết, Kārtavīrya, chúa tể loài người, đến đạo tràng của Dattātreya và chí thành phụng thờ ngài.
