गर्ग उवाच देवानां दानवानाञ्च युद्धमासीद् सुदारुणम् ।
दैत्यानामीश्वरो जम्भो देवानाञ्च शचीपतिः ॥
garga uvāca devānāṃ dānavānāñ ca yuddham āsīt sudāruṇam | daityānām īśvaro jambho devānāñ ca śacīpatiḥ ||
Garga nói: Một cuộc chiến vô cùng khủng khiếp đã bùng lên giữa chư thiên và các Dānava. Chúa tể của Daitya là Jambha, còn chúa tể của chư thiên là phu quân của Śacī (Indra).
