Purāṇic pedagogy often uses detailed ‘maps’ of consequence: actions are not abstract but lead to specific experiential results—either in naraka or in constrained rebirths—encouraging ethical restraint and restitution.
Ancillary dharma teaching; not one of the five marks strictly, but commonly integrated into Purāṇas to operationalize dharma across social life.
‘Yoni’ signifies the psychic habitat matching one’s dominant tendencies; the cosmos mirrors inner disposition, so rebirth becomes a symbolic exteriorization of one’s moral psychology.
