जयो जयन्तो विजयो जयत्सेनो जयद्धल: । इति गुह्मानि नामानि चक्रे तेषां युधिष्ठिर:,तब युधिष्ठिरने क्रमश: पाँचों भाइयोंके जय, जयन्त, विजय, जयत्सेन और जयद्वल-- ये गुप्त नाम रखे

Transliteration

jayo jayanto vijayo jayatseno jayaddhalaḥ | iti guhyāni nāmāni cakre teṣāṃ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Yudhiṣṭhira đặt cho các anh em những tên gọi bí mật—Jaya, Jayanta, Vijaya, Jayatsena và Jayaddhala—để khi sống ẩn danh, họ giữ trọn lời thề, tránh bị nhận ra, và nâng đỡ dharma bằng sự tự chế có kỷ luật, chứ không bằng đối đầu công khai.
