अर्जुन-कर्ण-सङ्ग्रामः

Arjuna–Karna Engagement in the Cattle-Raid Aftermath

माया हि बहव: सन्ति शास्त्रमाश्रित्य चिन्तिता:। तेषां युद्ध तु पापिष्ठं वेदयन्ति पुराविद:

māyā hi bahavaḥ santi śāstram āśritya cintitāḥ | teṣāṃ yuddhaṃ tu pāpiṣṭhaṃ vedayanti purāvidaḥ ||

Kripa nói: “Quả thật, nương theo giáo huấn của śāstra, người ta có thể nghĩ ra vô vàn mưu lược. Nhưng trong tất cả, chiến tranh là hành vi tội lỗi nhất—đó là điều các bậc hiền triết am tường truyền thống cổ xưa đã tuyên dạy.”
