ततो विराट: प्रस्कन्द्य रथादथ सुशर्मण:

Transliteration

tato virāṭaḥ praskandya rathād atha suśarmaṇaḥ | gadāṃ gṛhītvā tvarito 'bhidudrāva tam eva ca ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Bấy giờ vua Virāṭa nhảy phắt xuống từ chiến xa của Suśarman. Nắm lấy cây chùy, ông lao thẳng về phía đối thủ. Dẫu tuổi đã cao, Virāṭa vẫn tung hoành trên chiến địa với khí lực như một tráng niên—bày tỏ lòng dũng cảm bền bỉ của bậc quân vương và quyết tâm đối mặt với sự xâm lấn mà không hề lùi bước.
