भीमसेन उवाच
A warrior’s dharma includes taking responsibility for protection: Bhima offers to bear the danger himself, asking the king to stand aside with his brothers. The verse highlights courage joined with prudent safeguarding of those who should not be exposed to unnecessary risk.
In the Virāṭa episode, Bhima declares that he will fight by relying on his own strength. He instructs the king (Virāṭa) to remain at a safe distance with his brothers and watch Bhima’s valor in action.
