जज्वाल चाग्निमदनो दावाग्निरिव निर्दय: । त्वत्सड्र्माभिसंकल्पविवृद्धो मां दहत्ययम्‌

Transliteration

jajvāla cāgnimadano dāvāgnir iva nirdayaḥ | tvatsaṅgamābhisaṅkalpa-vivṛddho māṃ dahaty ayam ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Kāma tàn nhẫn, mang hình lửa, đã bùng lên như trận hỏa hoạn rừng sâu trong khu rừng của trái tim ta. Chính ý niệm được hợp hoan cùng nàng nuôi nó như bơ ghee; vì thế, dục vọng ấy càng thêm dữ dội và nay đang thiêu đốt ta.”
