एवं ते न्यवसंस्तत्र प्रच्छन्ना: पुरुषर्षभा: । कर्माणि तस्य कुर्वाणा विराटनृपतेस्तदा,इस प्रकार वे पुरुषशिरोमणि पाण्डव उस समय राजा विराटके भिन्न-भिन्न कार्य सँभालते हुए वहाँ छिपकर रहते थे
evaṁ te nyavasan tatra pracchannāḥ puruṣarṣabhāḥ | karmāṇi tasya kurvāṇā virāṭanṛpates tadā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Thế rồi những bậc trượng phu như bò mộng ấy—các Pāṇḍava, những người ưu tú nhất—sống ẩn mình tại đó, và khi ấy họ đảm đương các công việc, bổn phận khác nhau của vua Virāṭa.
