Indra–Vṛtra Conflict and the Adversaries’ Tapas-Targeting Counsel
जिज्ञासमानो रामस्य वीर्य दाशरथेस्तदा । त॑ वै दशरथ: श्रुत्वा विषयान्तमुपागतम्
jijñāsamāno rāmasya vīryaṃ dāśaratheḥ tadā | taṃ vai daśarathaḥ śrutvā viṣayāntam upāgatam ||
Muốn dò biết uy lực của Rāma, con trai Daśaratha, người ấy khi ấy đã đến tận rìa cõi nước của Daśaratha. Vua Daśaratha nghe tin kẻ ấy đã tới, liền lưu tâm đến vị khách đã đặt chân đến biên thùy.
