दधीच्यास्थिवज्रनिर्माणोपाख्यानम् | The Forging of the Vajra from Dadhīca’s Bones

लोगश उवाच तत आयदब्ययौ पूर्णो तस्मै राजा न्यवेदयत्‌ । अतो विद्वन्नुपादत्स्व यदत्र वसु मन्‍्यसे,लोमशजी कहते हैं--युधिष्ठिर! तब राजा श्रुतर्वाने महर्षिके सामने अपने आय- व्ययका पूरा ब्योरा रख दिया और कहा--'ज्ञानी महर्षे! इस धनमेंसे जो आप ठीक समझें, वह ले लें!

Transliteration

Lomaśa uvāca—tata āya-vyayau pūrṇau tasmai rājā nyavedayat | ato vidvann upādatsva yad atra vasu manyase ||

Translation

Lomaśa nói: “Bấy giờ nhà vua đã trình bày trước vị hiền triết một bản kê khai đầy đủ về thu nhập và chi tiêu của mình. Rồi vua thưa: ‘Bạch Đại Thánh hiền trí, trong số của cải này, xin ngài cứ lấy điều gì ngài cho là thích đáng.’”
