Educational Q&A

Spiritual accomplishment depends not merely on the quantity of hardship but on the purity and discipline of the practitioner; in a sanctified context associated with realized sages, even modest austerity can bear swift fruit.

Dhaumya addresses a king and points out a revered route or region called Jambūmārga, emphasizing that it is a domain of accomplished sages and that austerities performed there lead to success with comparatively little effort.
