राजर्षेस्तस्य च सरिन्नृगस्य भरतर्षभ । रम्यतीर्था बहुजला पयोष्णी द्विजसेविता,भरतकुलभूषण! राजा नृगकी नदी पयोष्णी भी उधर ही है जो रमणीय तीर्थों और अगाध जलसे सुशोभित है। द्विज उसका सेवन करते हैं
rājarṣes tasya ca sarin nṛgasya bharatarṣabha | ramyatīrthā bahujalā payoṣṇī dvijasevitā ||
Dhaumya nói: “Hỡi bậc tráng kiệt của dòng Bharata, ở đó còn có sông Payoṣṇī thuộc về vị vương thánh Nṛga. Sông ấy có nhiều bến tắm linh thiêng đẹp đẽ, nước dồi dào, và thường được các bậc ‘nhị sinh’ (dvija) lui tới nương nhờ.”
