Pulastya’s Instruction
कुरुक्षेत्र गमिष्यामि कुरुक्षेत्र वसाम्पहम् | य एवं सतत ब्रूयात् सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते,“मैं कुरक्षेत्रमें जाऊँगा, कुरुक्षेत्रमें निवास करूँगा।” इस प्रकार जो सदा कहा करता है, वह सब पापोंसे मुक्त हो जाता है
kurukṣetraṁ gamiṣyāmi kurukṣetre vasāmy aham | ya evaṁ satataṁ brūyāt sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||
“Ta sẽ đến Kurukṣetra; ta sẽ cư ngụ tại Kurukṣetra.” Ai luôn miệng thốt lên lời nguyện ấy thì được giải thoát khỏi mọi tội lỗi.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches that sustained intention and repeated affirmation of a dharmic resolve—here, going to and residing in a sacred place—has purificatory power, leading to freedom from sin.
A speaker states a general rule of tīrtha-mahātmyā: one who continually declares the intention to go to Kurukṣetra and live there gains spiritual purification, highlighting Kurukṣetra’s sanctity.
