Pulastya’s Instruction
शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स््नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है
śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||
Ghūlastya nói: “Hỡi bậc tối thắng trong loài người, nếu tắm đúng theo nghi thức tại thánh địa của Śālihotra—tīrtha mang tên Śālisūrya—thì sẽ được công đức ngang với việc bố thí một nghìn con bò.”
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Ritual action performed in the right way at a sanctified place—here, bathing at a specific tīrtha—can yield great spiritual merit, comparable to major acts of charity such as donating a thousand cows.
