Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes disciplined conduct—especially regulated eating and self-control—as the proper ethical posture for pilgrimage and spiritual pursuit, linking inner restraint with the sanctity of sacred places.

The speaker gives itinerary-style guidance for a sacred journey, directing the listener to go next to Vinaśana, identified as the spot where the Sarasvatī becomes hidden in the region called Merupūchala.
