Adhyāya 73: Damayantī’s Investigation of Bāhuka

Keśinī’s Observations

Educational Q&A

Persistent effort may still yield no immediate result; the narrative suggests that resolution often comes through a decisive meeting or proper guidance—here symbolized by contact with a rightful ruler—rather than through anxious searching alone.

A king residing in the beautiful city of Kuṇḍina repeatedly looks around but finds nothing; the scene then shifts as he meets the king of Vidarbha, marking a transition toward the next development in the story.
