दमयन्ती तु रूपेण तेजसा यशसा श्रिया । सौभाग्येन च लोकेषु यश: प्राप सुमध्यमा,सुन्दर कटिप्रदेशवाली दमयन्ती रूप, तेज, यश, श्री और सौभाग्यके द्वारा तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात यशस्विनी हुई

damayantī tu rūpeṇa tejasā yaśasā śriyā | saubhāgyena ca lokeṣu yaśaḥ prāpa sumadhyamā ||

Damayantī, người thiếu nữ thon eo duyên dáng, đã vang danh khắp ba cõi nhờ sắc đẹp, hào quang, tiếng thơm, phú quý và phúc lành cát tường.
