वेदेषु धर्मशास्त्रेषु मिथ्या यो वै द्विजातिषु । देवेषु पितृधर्मेषु सो$क्षयं नरकं॑ व्रजेत्
vedeṣu dharmaśāstreṣu mithyā yo vai dvijātiṣu | deveṣu pitṛdharmeṣu so 'kṣayaṃ narakaṃ vrajet ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Ai ôm giữ nhận định sai lạc hay khinh miệt đối với các Veda và các Dharmaśāstra, đối với hàng ‘nhị sinh’ (Bà-la-môn), đối với chư thần và các nghi lễ phải dâng cho tổ tiên—kẻ ấy sẽ đi vào địa ngục không tiêu hoại.”
