वैशम्पायन उवाच सा वै शापपरित्रस्ता बहु चिन्तयती हृदा । मोहेनाभिपरीतड्री स्मयमाना पुन: पुनः

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca sā vai śāpaparitrastā bahu cintayatī hṛdā | mohena abhiparītadṛṣṭiḥ smayamānā punaḥ punaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khiếp sợ trước lời nguyền, nàng trầm tư sâu thẳm trong lòng. Nhưng vì mê muội, sự phán đoán của nàng bị đảo lộn, và nàng cứ mỉm cười hết lần này đến lần khác—một dấu hiệu bên ngoài của cơn rối loạn nội tâm trước hệ quả đạo lý.
