सूर्य उवाच अदित्या कुण्डले राज्ञि दत्ते मे मत्तकाशिनि । तेडस्य दास्यामि वै भीरु वर्म चैवेदमुत्तमम्,सूर्यदेवने कहा--यौवनके मदसे सुशोभित होनेवाली भीरु राजकुमारी! माता अदितिने मुझे जो कुण्डल दिये हैं, उन्हें मैं तुम्हारे इस पुत्रको दे दूँगा। साथ ही यह उत्तम कवच भी उसे अर्पित करूँगा
sūrya uvāca | adityā kuṇḍale rājñi datte me mattakāśini | te tasya dāsyāmi vai bhīru varma caivam idam uttamam ||
Thần Mặt Trời nói: “Hỡi công chúa e lệ, rạng ngời bởi niềm kiêu hãnh của tuổi xuân! Đôi khuyên tai mà mẫu thân ta, Aditi, đã ban cho ta—ta nhất định sẽ trao lại cho con trai nàng. Và cùng với chúng, ta cũng sẽ ban cho nó bộ giáp tối thượng này.”
