निर्भ्सनापवादैश्व तथैवाप्रियया गिरा । ब्राह्मणस्य पृथा राजन्‌ न चकाराप्रियं तदा,राजन! वे ब्राह्मण कभी धिक्कारते, कभी बात-बातमें दोषारोपण करते और प्राय: कटु वचन भी बोला करते थे, तो भी पृथा उनके प्रति कभी कोई अप्रिय बर्ताव नहीं करती थी

Transliteration

nirbhartsanāpavādaiś ca tathaivāpriyayā girā | brāhmaṇasya pṛthā rājan na cakārāpriyaṃ tadā ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi đức vua, dù vị Bà-la-môn ấy đôi khi quở trách nàng, đôi khi buộc tội nàng, và thường nói những lời cay nghiệt khó nghe, Pṛthā (Kuntī) khi ấy vẫn không hề đáp lại ông bằng bất kỳ sự bất nhã nào.”
