न हि तेडध्यगमज्जातु तदानीं नाद्य भारत | धर्मात् प्रियतरं किंचिदपि चेज्जीवितादिह,भरतकुलतिलक! आपके भाइयोंने न तो पहले कभी और न आज ही धर्मसे अधिक प्रिय दूसरी किसी वस्तुको समझा है। अपितु धर्मको जीवनसे भी बढ़कर माना है
na hi te 'dhyagamaj jātu tadānīṃ nādya bhārata | dharmāt priyataram kiṃcid api cej jīvitād iha ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Hỡi Bhārata, các em của ngài chưa từng—khi ấy cũng như hôm nay—coi điều gì đáng quý hơn dharma. Quả thật, ở đời này họ xem dharma còn lớn hơn cả mạng sống.”
