अवध्य: सर्वभूतानां मत्प्रसादात्‌ पुराभवत्‌ । कस्माच्चित्‌ कारणात्‌ पाप: कज्चित्‌ कालमुपेक्षित:,पूर्वकालमें मेरे ही प्रसादसे यह समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये अवध्य हो गया था। किसी कारणवश ही कुछ कालतक इस पापीकी उपेक्षा की गयी थी

Transliteration

avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ matprasādāt purābhavat | kasmāc cit kāraṇāt pāpaḥ kaścit kālam upekṣitaḥ ||

Translation

“Thuở trước, nhờ ân huệ của ta, hắn đã trở nên bất khả sát đối với mọi loài. Nhưng vì một nguyên do nào đó, kẻ tội lỗi này đã được dung thứ—bị để mặc không trừng phạt—trong một thời gian.”
