कुन्तीगर्भगोपनम् तथा मञ्जूषाप्रवाहः

Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket

भयात्‌ प्रदुद्रुवु: सर्वे वानरा: सर्वतोदिशम्‌ । राक्षत दशाननकी उस विकराल मायाको देखकर सब वानर भयके मारे चारों दिशाओंमें भाग चले ।। २४ $ ।। ततः सुपत्र॑ सुमुखं हेमपुड्खं शरोत्तमम्‌

bhayāt pradudruvuḥ sarve vānarāḥ sarvato diśam |

Thấy ảo thuật ghê rợn do tên rākṣasa mười đầu bày ra, toàn thể vānaras—bị nỗi sợ áp đảo—đều tan hàng và chạy tán loạn về mọi phía. Đoạn này cho thấy kinh hoàng và mê vọng có thể phá vỡ ý chí tập thể, và rằng cần có sự tỉnh thức cùng lòng vững chãi để đối diện những màn phô trương quyền lực đầy lừa dối.
