तौ लब्धसंज्ञौ नृवरौ विशल्यावुदतिष्ठताम् । गततन्द्रीक्लमौ चापि क्षणेनैती महारथौ,होशमें आ जानेपर वे दोनों नरश्रेष्ठ महारथी वीर बाणोंसे रहित हो आलस्य और थकावट त्यागकर क्षणभरमें उठ खड़े हुए
tau labdhasaṃjñau nṛvarau viśalyāv udatīṣṭhatām | gatatandrīklamau cāpi kṣaṇenaitī mahārathau ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: Khi đã hồi tỉnh, hai bậc trượng phu ấy—nay không còn mũi tên nào ghim trên thân—lập tức đứng dậy. Gạt bỏ cơn lịm và mỏi mệt, hai đại chiến xa ấy chỉ trong khoảnh khắc đã lại hiên ngang.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness under adversity: true nobility is shown by quickly regaining composure, discarding lethargy and exhaustion, and returning to one’s duty with clarity and courage.
After being rendered unconscious and pierced by arrows, the two heroes regain consciousness, have the shafts removed, and immediately rise—refreshed of drowsiness and fatigue—ready to continue.
