Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Rồi ông tiến vào Laṅkā cùng một đạo quân khỉ thiện chiến mênh mông—kẻ trắng nhạt, kẻ đỏ hung—đông đến hàng trăm nghìn koṭi.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical idea that strength becomes meaningful when organized and directed toward a righteous end: disciplined allies acting together in support of dharma can overcome even formidable strongholds.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes the advance on Laṅkā: a vast, war-capable host of monkeys—of pale and tawny hues—moves swiftly to enter/assail the city, marking a decisive escalation toward confrontation.
