करभारुणपाण्डूनां हरीणां युद्धशालिनाम् । कोटीशतसहस््रेण लड़कामभ्यपपत् तदा,तत्पश्चात् उन्होंने हथेलीके समान श्वेत और लाल रंगके युद्धकुशल वानरोंकी दस खरब सेनाके साथ लंकामें प्रवेश किया
karabhāruṇa-pāṇḍūnāṃ harīṇāṃ yuddha-śālinām | koṭi-śata-sahasreṇa laṅkām abhyapatat tadā ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Rồi ông tiến vào Laṅkā cùng một đạo quân khỉ thiện chiến mênh mông—kẻ trắng nhạt, kẻ đỏ hung—đông đến hàng trăm nghìn koṭi.”
