Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
तैलाभिषिक्तो विकचो मज्जन् पड़के दशानन: । असकृत् खययुक्ते तु रथे नृत्यन्निव स्थित:,'सपनेमें मैंने देखा है कि रावण तेलसे नहाये, मूँड़ मुँड़ाये, कीचड़में डूब रहा है। फिर कई बार देखनेमें आया कि वह गदहोंसे जुते हुए रथपर खड़ा होकर नृत्य-सा कर रहा है
tailābhiṣikto vikaco majjan paṅkake daśānanaḥ | asakṛt kharayukte tu rathe nṛtyann iva sthitaḥ ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Trong mộng, ta thấy Daśānana (Rāvaṇa) được xức dầu, đầu bị cạo trọc, đang chìm dần trong bùn lầy. Hết lần này đến lần khác, ta lại thấy hắn đứng trên cỗ xe bị lừa kéo, như thể đang nhảy múa.”
