Draupadī’s Rebuke of Jayadratha and Dhaumya’s Admonition (Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 252)
यत्र हर्षस्त्वया कार्य: सत्कर्तव्याश्व पाण्डवा: । तत्र शोचसि राजेन्द्र विपरीतमिदं तव
yatra harṣas tvayā kāryaḥ satkartavyāś ca pāṇḍavāḥ | tatra śocasi rājendra viparītam idaṃ tava rājendra ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc vương giả tối thượng, nơi đáng lẽ ngài phải vui mừng và tôn kính các Pāṇḍava, thì ngài lại than sầu. Cách xử sự ấy, tâu Đại vương, thật trái hẳn điều phải lẽ.”
