दुर्योधनस्य प्रायोपवेशः — शकुनिसान्त्वनम् तथा कृत्याह्वानम्

उपायं न तु पश्यामि येन गच्छेम तद् वनम् | यथा चाभ्यनुजानीयाद् गच्छन्तं मां महीपति:,'परन्तु मुझे कोई ऐसा उपाय नहीं दिखायी देता, जिससे हमलोग द्वैतवनमें जा सकें; अथवा महाराज मुझे वहाँ जानेकी आज्ञा दे दें!
upāyaṃ na tu paśyāmi yena gacchema tad vanam | yathā cābhyanujānīyād gacchantaṃ māṃ mahīpatiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Ta chẳng thấy kế nào để chúng ta có thể đến khu rừng ấy; cũng chẳng thấy làm sao vị vua của xứ sở lại cho phép ta rời đi đến đó.”
