चित्रसेन-समागमः / The Engagement with Citrasena and the Gandharvas
यथोपदेशं नियता वर्तमाना वराड़ने,(अनुतिष्ठामि तत् सर्व नित्यकालमतन्द्रिता ।।) 'सुन्दरी! शास्त्रोंमें स्त्रियोंके लिये जिन कर्तव्योंका उपदेश किया गया है, उन सबका मैं नियमपूर्वक पालन करती हूँ। अपने अंगोंको वस्त्राभूषणोंसे विभूषित रखकर पूरी सावधानीके साथ मैं पतिके प्रिय एवं हित-साधनमें संलग्न रहती हूँ। मेरी सासने अपने परिवारके लोगोंके साथ बर्तावमें लानेयोग्य जो धर्म पहले मुझे बताये थे, उन सबका मैं निरन्तर आलस्यरहित होकर पालन करती हूँ
yathopadeśaṁ niyatā vartamānā varāṅgane, anutiṣṭhāmi tat sarvaṁ nityakālam atandritā.
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi người nữ có thân thể mỹ lệ, ta sống nghiêm cẩn theo những lời chỉ dạy trong śāstra. Mọi bổn phận dành cho phụ nữ, ta đều thực hành mọi lúc, không hề lơ là—giữ thân mình trang sức bằng y phục và châu báu, cẩn trọng chuyên tâm vào điều làm chồng vui lòng và đem lợi ích cho chồng. Những phép tắc ứng xử trong gia thất mà mẹ chồng đã dạy ta thuở trước, ta cũng luôn tuân giữ không ngơi, không để sự biếng nhác xen vào.”
