प्रत्युद्ययुर्महा भागा: साध्याश्व वसुभि: सह । उन्होंने इन्द्रको अपना आश्रय बनाकर दानवोंके साथ पुनः युद्ध प्रारम्भ किया। तत्पश्चात् वे सभी देवता महाबली मरुद्गण तथा वसुओं एवं महाभाग साध्यगण-सहित युद्धभूमिमें आगे बढ़ने लगे
pratyudyayur mahābhāgāḥ sādhyāś ca vasubhiḥ saha | indram āśritya te sarve dānavaiḥ saha punar yuddham ārabdhavantaḥ | tataḥ paścāt te sarve devā mahābalaiḥ marudgaṇaiḥ vasubhiś ca mahābhāgaiḥ sādhyagaṇaiḥ saha raṇabhūmim abhyavartanta ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: Các Sādhyas phúc đức, cùng với các Vasus, lại đứng dậy để nghênh chiến. Nương tựa nơi Indra và tụ hội dưới quyền lãnh đạo của Ngài, họ tái khởi cuộc giao tranh với bọn Dānavas. Rồi tất cả chư thiên—cùng những đạo quân Maruts hùng mạnh, các Vasus và các Sādhyas hiển hách—tiến ra chiến địa, quyết lòng khôi phục trật tự chính đáng bằng sức đồng tâm và dũng khí kỷ luật.
