सम्पूज्यमानस्त्रिदशैरभिवाद्य महेश्वरम् । शुशुभे कृत्तिकापुत्र: प्रकीर्णाशुरिवांशुमान्,उस समय देवतालोग कृत्तिकानन्दन स्कन्ददेवकी स्तुति और पूजा करने लगे। कुमार स्कन्द अपने पिता महेश्वरको प्रणाम करके सब ओर किरणें बिखेरनेवाले अंशुमाली सूर्यकी भाँति शोभा पाने लगे
sampūjyamānas tridaśair abhivādya maheśvaram | śuśubhe kṛttikāputraḥ prakīrṇāśur ivāṃśumān ||
Khi chư thiên tôn kính, cúng dường và ca tụng, Skanda—con của Kṛttikā—trước hết cúi đầu đảnh lễ Maheśvara (Śiva). Rồi Ngài rực rỡ huy hoàng như mặt trời chói lọi, tung tỏa muôn tia sáng về khắp bốn phương.
