पादपानां च या माता करञ्जनिलया हि सा । वरदा सा हि सौम्या च नित्यं भूतानुकम्पिनी,जो वृक्षोंकी माता है, वह करंजवृक्षपर निवास किया करती है। वह वर देनेवाली तथा सौम्य है और सदा समस्त प्राणियोंपर कृपा करती है

Transliteration

pādapānāṃ ca yā mātā karañjanilayā hi sā | varadā sā hi saumyā ca nityaṃ bhūtānukampinī ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Đấng là mẹ của muôn cây cối ngự trên cây karañja. Bản tính hiền hòa, ban ân phúc, và luôn thương xót mọi loài hữu tình.”
