अनुनीयमानो हि भृशं देववाक्याद्धि तेन सः । नैच्छद्‌ वोढुं हवि: सोढुं शरीरं चापि सो5त्यजत्‌

Transliteration

anunīyamāno hi bhṛśaṃ devavākyād dhi tena saḥ | naicchad voḍhuṃ haviḥ soḍhuṃ śarīraṃ cāpi so 'tyajat |

Translation

Dẫu được khẩn cầu tha thiết hết lần này đến lần khác—theo lời chư thiên—ngài vẫn không thuận. Ngài chẳng muốn gánh việc mang lễ vật, lại cũng không thể chịu nổi gánh nặng của chính thân thể đã hao mòn. Cuối cùng, ngài lìa bỏ thân xác.
