य: क्रोधमोहौ त्यजति त॑ देवा ब्राह्मणं विदु: । यो वदेदिह सत्यानि गुरु संतोषयेत च

Transliteration

yaḥ krodha-mohau tyajati taṃ devā brāhmaṇaṃ viduḥ | yo vaded iha satyāni guruṃ santoṣayet ca ||

Translation

Vị Bà-la-môn nói: “Ai dứt bỏ sân hận và mê muội—chính chư thiên cũng nhận người ấy là một brāhmaṇa chân chính. Và ai ở đời này nói lời chân thật, lại làm thầy mình được hoan hỷ—ấy là hạnh trạng của con đường chính pháp.”
