मातापितृपूजन-प्रधानधर्मः (Primacy of Filial Service) — Mārkaṇḍeya’s Account of the Vyādha’s Instruction
तमाविशत् ततो विष्णुर्भगवांस्तेजसा प्रभु: । उत्तड़कस्य नियोगेन लोकानां हितकाम्यया,तदनन्तर उत्तंकके अनुरोधसे सम्पूर्ण जगत्का हित करनेके लिये सर्वसमर्थ भगवान् विष्णुने अपने तेजोमय स्वरूपसे कुवलाश्वमें प्रवेश किया
tam āviśat tato viṣṇur bhagavāṁs tejasā prabhuḥ | uttāḍakasya niyogena lokānāṁ hitakāmyayā ||
Bấy giờ, đức Viṣṇu—Bhagavān, bậc Chúa tể—đã nhập vào nhà vua bằng uy quang rực rỡ của Ngài; việc ấy diễn ra theo lời thỉnh cầu của Uttāḍaka, vì mong cầu lợi ích cho các thế giới. Tình tiết này nhấn mạnh rằng quyền năng thiêng liêng được khẩn thỉnh không vì tư lợi, mà để che chở và đem lợi lạc cho muôn loài.
