Guṇa-vibhāga and Prāṇa–Agni–Yoga Upadeśa (गुणविभाग तथा प्राण-अग्नि-योगोपदेश)
तेजसा तव तेजश्व विष्णुराप्याययिष्यति । विष्णुना च वरो दत्त: पूर्व मम महीपते,भूपाल! भगवान् विष्णु अपने तेजसे आपके तेजको बढ़ायेंगे। उन्होंने पूर्वकालमें मुझे यह वर दिया था कि जो राजा उस भयानक एवं महान् असुरका वध करनेको उद्यत होगा, उस दुर्धर्ष वीरके भीतर मेरा वैष्णव तेज प्रवेश करेगा
tejasā tava tejaśva viṣṇur āpyāyayiṣyati | viṣṇunā ca varo dattaḥ pūrvaṁ mama mahīpate bhūpāla |
Uttaṅka nói: “Ôi đức vua rực rỡ! Đức Thế Tôn Viṣṇu sẽ lấy chính thần lực của Ngài mà làm tăng thêm quang uy của bệ hạ. Thuở xưa, hỡi chúa tể cõi đất, Viṣṇu đã ban cho ta một ân huệ: vị vua nào đứng lên để giết con asura ghê gớm và hùng mạnh ấy, thì vào trong người anh hùng bất khả khuất phục đó, uy lực Vaiṣṇava của ta sẽ nhập vào.”
