Dharma-vyādha’s Analysis of Moral Decline and the Mahābhūta–Guṇa Schema (धर्मव्याधोपदेशः)
ब्राह्मणांस्तोषयेद् यस्तु तुष्यन्ते तस्य देवता: । वचनाच्चापि विप्राणां स्वर्गलोकमवाप्लनुयात्,जो ब्राह्मणोंको संतुष्ट करता है, उसपर सब देवता संतुष्ट रहते हैं। ब्राह्मणोंके वचनसे अर्थात् आशीर्वादसे भी मनुष्य स्वर्गलोक पा सकता है
brāhmaṇāṁs toṣayed yas tu tuṣyante tasya devatāḥ | vacanāc cāpi viprāṇāṁ svargalokam avāpnu yāt ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Ai làm hài lòng các Bà-la-môn thì cũng làm hài lòng chư thiên. Và nhờ lời của các Bà-la-môn—nhờ phúc lành của họ—một người có thể đạt đến cõi trời.”
