तामहं माययैवाशु प्रतिगृह्य व्यनाशयम्‌ । तस्यां हतायां मायायां गिरिशृज्जैरयोधयत्‌,शाल्वकी उस मायाको मैंने मायाद्वारा ही नियन्त्रित करके नष्ट कर दिया। उस मायाका नाश होनेपर वह पर्वतके शिखरोंद्वारा युद्ध करने लगा

tām ahaṃ māyayāivāśu pratigṛhya vyanāśayam | tasyāṃ hatāyāṃ māyāyāṃ giriśṛṅgair ayodhayat ||

Vāsudeva nói: “Ảo thuật ấy ta lập tức chế ngự bằng thần lực của chính mình và phá tan. Khi māyā đã bị diệt, hắn lại tiếp tục giao chiến, ném và giáng xuống những đỉnh núi.”
