ब्राह्मणानुयात्रा—शौनकोपदेशः
Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction
तदिदं वेदवचनं कुरु कर्म त्यजेति च । तस्माद् धर्मानिमान् सर्वान् नाभिमानात् समाचरेत्,वेदकी यह आज्ञा है कि कर्म करो और कर्म छोड़ो; अतः आगे बताये जानेवाले इन सभी धर्मोका अहंकारशून्य होकर अनुष्ठान करना चाहिये
tad idaṁ vedavacanaṁ kuru karma tyajeti ca | tasmād dharmān imān sarvān nābhimānāt samācaret |
Đó chính là lời dạy của Veda: “Hãy hành động”, và cũng “Hãy từ bỏ hành động”. Vì vậy, mọi bổn phận sẽ được nêu ra sau đây, hãy thực hành không ngã mạn, không tự tôn—làm vì dharma chứ không vì phô bày bản ngã.
