उत्तङ्कोपाख्यानप्रारम्भः — Uttanka’s Tapas, Viṣṇu-stuti, and the Dhundhumāra Prophecy

आशड्कय मद्वचो होतद् धर्मलोपो भवेत् तव | जातोऊसि प्रथिते वंशे कुरूणां भरतर्षभ
āśaṅkya mad-vaco hotad dharma-lopo bhavet tava | jāto ’si prathite vaṃśe kurūṇāṃ bharatarṣabha ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Ta nói như vậy vì e rằng, nếu ngươi nghi ngại lời ta, dharma của ngươi sẽ bị suy tổn. Hỡi bậc tráng kiện, hỡi ‘con bò đực’ trong dòng Bharata, ngươi sinh ra trong dòng dõi Kuru lẫy lừng. Vậy hãy hành xử xứng đáng với truyền thống rạng danh ấy, gìn giữ chính pháp, chớ để nó suy tàn vì sự hiểu lầm.”
