रूक्षा वाचो विमोक्ष्यन्ति युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते । मित्रसम्बन्धिनश्षापि संत्यक्ष्यन्ति नरास्तदा
rūkṣā vāco vimokṣyanti yugānte paryupasthite | mitra-sambandhinaḥ śāpī santyakṣyanti narās tadā ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Khi tận cùng thời đại đến gần, con người sẽ buông lời thô bạo và tàn nhẫn. Khi ấy, ngay cả những kẻ ràng buộc bởi tình bạn và huyết thống cũng sẽ bỏ rơi nhau—người đời quay lưng bất chấp mọi mối dây.”
