आचार्योड्पनिधिश्रैव भर्त्स्यते तदनन्तरम्‌ । अर्थयुक्‍्त्या प्रवत्स्यन्ति मित्रसम्बन्धिबान्धवा:

Transliteration

ācāryo 'panidhiś caiva bhartsyate tad-anantaram | artha-yuktyā pravatsyanti mitra-sambandhi-bāndhavāḥ ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Rồi đến lúc ngay cả thầy dạy và người giữ của ký thác cũng bị nhục mạ. Bạn bè, bà con, thân tộc cũng sẽ hành xử theo ‘lẽ tiện lợi’, viện cớ bằng những lập luận khôn khéo về lợi ích, chứ không còn theo điều phải.”
