Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
शूद्रा: परिचरिष्यन्ति न द्विजान् युगसंक्षये । आश्रमेषु महर्षीणां ब्राह्मणावसथेषु च,युगान्तकालमें शूद्र द्विजातियोंकी सेवा नहीं करेंगे। वह समय आनेपर महर्षियोंके आश्रमोंमें, ब्राह्मणोंके घरोंमें, देवस्थानोंमें, चैत्यवृक्षोंके आस-पास और नागालयोंमें जो भूमि होगी, उसपर हड्डी जड़ी हुई दीवारोंका चिह्न तो उपलब्ध होगा; परंतु देवमन्दिर उस भूमिकी शोभा नहीं बढ़ायेंगे
śūdrāḥ paricariṣyanti na dvijān yugasaṃkṣaye | āśrameṣu maharṣīṇāṃ brāhmaṇāvasatheṣu ca ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Vào lúc yuga tan rã (cuối thời), Thủ-đà-la sẽ không còn phục dịch những bậc ‘nhị sinh’ nữa. Ngay cả trong các ẩn viện của đại hiền và trong nhà của các Bà-la-môn, trật tự tôn kính và phụng sự theo lệ xưa cũng sẽ suy tàn.”
