स्वैराचाराश्न पुरुषा योषितश्न विशाम्पते । अन्योन्यं न सहिष्यन्ति युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते,महाराज! युगान्तकाल आनेपर पुरुष और स्त्रियाँ स्वेच्छाचारी होकर एक-दूसरेके कार्य और विचारको नहीं सहेंगे

Transliteration

svairācārāś ca puruṣā yoṣitaś ca viśāmpate | anyonyaṁ na sahiṣyanti yugānte paryupasthite, mahārāja |

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Hỡi chúa tể của muôn dân, khi tận cùng của thời đại đến gần, đàn ông và đàn bà sẽ hành xử theo ý mình; hỡi đại vương, họ sẽ không còn dung chịu nhau nữa—không chịu nổi cả việc làm lẫn cách nghĩ của nhau.”
