कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

ततस्ते जलदा घोरा राविण: पुरुषर्षभ । सर्वतः प्लावयन्त्याशु चोदिता: परमेछ्िना,पुरुषरत्न! तदनन्तर विधातासे प्रेरित हो गर्जन-तर्जन करनेवाले वे भयंकर मेघ शीघ्र सब ओर वर्षा करके सबको जलसे आप्लावित कर देते हैं

tataste jaladā ghorā rāviṇaḥ puruṣarṣabha | sarvataḥ plāvayantyāśu coditāḥ parameśṭhinā ||

Bấy giờ, hỡi bậc trượng phu kiệt xuất, những đám mây mưa ghê rợn, gầm vang như sấm—được Đấng Tạo Hóa (Vidhātā) thúc giục—liền mau chóng trút mưa khắp bốn phương, khiến muôn vật đều ngập chìm trong nước.
