“Hãy gom đủ mọi loại hạt giống, đúng như các Bà-la-môn thuở xưa đã truyền dạy; hãy phân loại từng thứ riêng rẽ, rồi đặt lên thuyền ấy, che chở cẩn mật và cất giữ an toàn.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Dharma here is expressed as prudent stewardship: preserve the means of future life (seeds) with care and order, following time-tested guidance, so that society and sacrifice can be restored after calamity.
Mārkaṇḍeya instructs that all kinds of seeds—specified in ancient Brahminical tradition—should be collected separately and securely loaded onto a boat, preparing for a great danger where preservation of life and continuity becomes essential.
